Hoosier Crane is a service oriented business in the overhead cranes and kits industry. They pride themselves on being client focused delivering world class solutions when it comes to load testing, training, engineering, inspections and non-destructive testing.
The biggest challenges we encountered was to build a timeless feature-driven commerce website that can scale and take on their continuing customer needs. The Hoosier team looked to Le Site to add an online additional parts-ordering function where customers can create a quote, or add orders including freight and shipping details along with a connection to their ERP system Netsuite. This was a migration from a legacy magneto 1 site to Magento 2 site.
Le Site looked towards migrating at least 50% of Hoosier Crane’s parts order intake to the web. This meant a significant cost reduction for the client and more efficiency. In addition, the team developed a customer experience that placed them at the core, one that would encourage repeated orders with a streamlined process. In addition, the team contributed to the site’s maintenance by integrating CMS pages with the ERP system. Lastly, we wanted to ensure that clients could have an intuitive experience on their mobile devices, one that would encourage search and navigation. So, we created a mobile-friendly interface.
The End Result
The dedication to the client saw the team use their technical and digital strategy to increase a modernized web presence that represents the scope of Hoosier Crane’s organization. This also resulted in improved search rankings, conversion rates resulting in an increase in ecommerce sales.
